Lovely Los Angeles...

My older sister Kaley turned 39 on april 15th, so my Mom, Dad, Sammy and I packed up the car for a little road trip.  We started with a night in Sutter Creek.  This is what I woke up too....

It stormed all night and rained off and on during the day. Sam and I made the most of it by relaxing all day in front of the fire.

Checkers joined in on the relaxing too.

Then we hit the road, Sam and I relaxed some more in the back seat.
Don't you just love his little face??

When I was done napping, I taught myself how to make a friendship bracelet.
I gave this one to Kaley.

It was nice a snowy on the grapevine.

But then the sun came out :)

Kaley wanted to go to the Natural History Museum, so we did.
It was awesome!  Say hello to Mr. Gorilla.

 Safari!!

 North American Brown Bear.

The butterfly pavilion should of been cool, but all the kids yelling and trying to catch butterflies just kinda bummed me out. Dang kids!!

I think the gem and mineral exhibit was my favorite part.

ooooohhhhhhhhh!!

My favorite Pixies song, Caribou!!!

The dinosaurs were pretty cool too.

Cake time!

introducing......Dublin!!! My sisters new puppy :)

Our last morning in LA, we had breakfast at the Santa Anita race track.
The horses were beautiful.

The dude on the right is the best dressed guy in LA.  I was smitten with the old guy.

It was the perfect end to our trip!
