i took sam on another hike in the oakland hills, this time to the redwood bowl. needless to say, I fell in love. here is why.....

If you haven't already done it, please listen to Karen Elson's album. Yes this is the same Karen Elson who is a model and married to Jack White. Her music has the coolest vaudevillian circus spooky vibe. I love it, very inspiring. It basically makes me want to lay around with a guitar wearing tons of pale pink silk charmeuse, feather headdresses, pearls, and lace. Love It!!

Capellini with Tomatoes and Basil

I saw this recipe on the atlantishome blog and decided to try it.

It was really easy to make not to mention delicous!

I love the bright red of the tomatoes.

We have a lot of fresh basil here.

As well as a lot of fresh parmesan :)

Served with white wine and a salad with beets.

If Jeremy is eating it, then it must be good!

And Sammy could care less :)

We took Sam on a hike in the Oakland hills a few weekends ago. It was a beautiful day :)

Piedmont Cemetary

I took Samson to the Piedmont Cemetary last weekend. It is such a cool, old cemetary. It is also a perfect place to walk your dog or just go for a nice stroll :)

This mausoleum is beautiful. The statues below remind me of the never ending story.
